While looking for Makototo's website, I came across "The Cool Hunter" website who collects everything "cool."  Architecture, design, fashion, gadgets, art, kid stuff and even bars:

Day 4 - Master Artist Style Study

This painting was a representation of a portion of Frida Kahlo's "The Chick."  I tried to represent texture by trying different brushes and saturation.  I also had started working on the value by using different shades of color; however, I wasn't able to finish before class was over.

For Tuesday - another good resource

Since I am in the business of learning, things that combine graphics and learning really interest me.  This website collects all "good" infographics:

Day 1 - Dry Media

These drawings represent value.  I tried incorporating the dark and light using white and black charcoal.
